After the maiden trip on February 11th, we used the time until end of February to test and to shake-down the yacht and her systems. Together with Anca, Konstantin and Philippe we flew the genoa, the Code-D and the jib. On three days, Eric Darni, a well-known French sailor and skipper, joined and supported us.

We sailed in all weather conditons from low wind to 6 Bft. We anchored in front of the famous beach of Les Sables d’Olonne and beached on Ile de Re during low tide. Quite easily, we familiarized with ONWO ONOC and her sailing characteristics.

Some re-work by Alubat was necessary, which was done between the sailing days.

Unfortunately, Anca and Konstantin had to go back to Switzerland and Germany after two weeks. At the end of the month, Phillipe’s father Christian joined us for the sailing adventure towards Lanzarote.
